Why Shahid Afridi Does Not Speak English in PSL ?

Shahid Khan Afridi the captain of Pakistan International cricket team for T20 games in the world cup 2016 needs no introduction. He is a brand everywhere in the world. The exciting personality of Shahid Khan Afridi is loved by huge fans around the world. The people of Pakistan respect and love this guy who is only 36 years of age. Afridi is known for his patriotism and immense love for the game of cricket.

The boom boom Afridi was recently made the captain of Peshawar Zalmi team. He is from the KPK province of Pakistan, therefore he is leading the capital of KPK Peshawar Zalmi. The Zalmi team had an incredible tournament. They are leading the points table with the No 1 position so far. Shahid has the credit for the brilliant performance of Peshawar Zalmi, without Afridi, the team might never have emerged as the most dangerous side of PSL.

Afridi has been found speaking the national language of Pakistan which is Urdu. Being a lovely jolly character, Shahid normally speaks English with command in the presentation ceremonies and pre- match interviews. Afridi has been found amazing this time in PSL only to speak his national language in front of the UAE crowd.

The post match ceremony is hosted by the experienced broadcaster and former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja. Ramiz interviews Afridi in Urdu for a solid reason. There is no issue with Shahid’s English. But he choses Urdu  in the PSL.

Yesterday when the Peshawar Zalmi got yet another win against Quetta Gladiators, Ramiz interviewed Shahid Afridi again for his tremendous winning streak. Afridi spoke in an elegant Urdu style. The most lovely thing was that the whole family members of Afridi were also present there.
