Unbelievable wrong third umpiring in South Africa Vs New Zealand

Pakistani bowlers were beated all around the ground till the 38th over when Santner got caught by Sarfraz behind the wickets for 31. He faced 63 balls at a run rate of 76.19. In the last ten overs, the battle was on and big hitting was started by New Zealand tail end batsmen. The All Rounder MJ McClenaghan started smashing Anwar Ali beyond the boundaries repeatedly. He proved very expensive in the second spell by taking 3 wickets in the first spell. MJ McClenaghan made 48 runs when he became a victim of Anwar Ali’s incredible bounder which was a slow short pitch delivery. The bouncer hit him near the eye and he got retired hurt. MJ McClenaghan could not come to ball in the second innings due to this unfortunate incident. He gave NewZeland a great stand by at a run rate of 172.22.

There were 20 extras in the innings. The New Zealand batted with the 5.60 runs per over rate for a total of 280. Pakistan were always going to find it tough to chase that total. Irfan tool 2 wickets, Amir and Anwar took 3 wickets each.Wahab Riaz and Azhar Ali along with Imad Wasim were not among the wickets today.

Hafeez played a good innings for 42 on 56 balls at a strike rate of 75.00. Babar Azam was the top scorer for Pakistan. He scored 62 runs in 76 balls. No one else can hit more boundaries in Pakistani innings than him. He hit 6 boundaries with a strike rate of 81.57.

Sohaib Maqsood failed again with 10 runs in the 16 balls. He had only hit one boundary and got caught out on the balling of Elliot. Sarfraz batted well for 30 runs on 29 balls. Sarfraz had the best run rate 103.44 for Pakistan. Sarfraz was able to smash three boundaries for his quickest 30. In the 44th over he got out caught by Anderson on the bowling of Boult. Pakistan was 7 down for a total of 205 in the 44th over. The hopes were alive as long as Sarfraz was playing well. After his departure, the Pakistani bowling attack low down the order failed miserably. They could only manage to take the total to 210 in 46 overs.12
