Umar Akmal, the star Pakistani cricketer, once again proved his mettle by scoring a blasting 93 in a match against Quetta Gladiators while representing Lahore Qalanders in the opening edition of the Pakistan Super League.
Umar entered the field after the skipper Azhar Ali got out on cumulative score of 62 after scoring 20 of 21 balls.
Right from the beginning, Akmal looked promising as he started hitting the ball towards all parts of the ground.
His innings of 93 came in just 39 balls before he got caught out on the 40th ball bowled by Anwar Ali.
It was his innings that played a key role in allowing Lahore Qalanders score the highest score yet in PSL and that was 194.
