The great all rounder Wasim Akram needs no introduction. The all rounder had taken more wickets than any other bowler in the One Day matches than any other bowler in his era. He was retired after Pakistan lost the 2003 world cup.
No bod can forget his two Yorkers in the 1992 world cup final when he cleaned up Alan lamb and Chris Louis of England to make Pakistan victorious. But we are not presenting that video for you today. This is a similar performance of Akram against Australia. He also took two brilliant wickets on Australian soil with two dangerous Yorkers.
In this video, the two Australian batsmen are Darren Lehmann and Ian Healey of Australia. Both batsmen were legends on the last decade for Australia. Healey played well for Australia as a wicket keeper batsman. The great Akram had a charging run up.
We went charging into the left handed Darren lehmann. Darren had a real stunner when Wasim came to deliver the bal. That was not the fastest delivery from Akram to Darren. But the bowl was very much like the world cup final example when he got rid of Chris Louis.
The Yorker was full length. Delivered with such excellence by the excellence of execution. The ball came rushing toward his pads. Darren tried to play a shot but there was no chance of it. The ball completely swung towards his right foot.
