Third Umpire Wrong Decision In New Zealand V South Africa

Pakistan and New Zealand have played the first ODI at Basin Reserve, Wellington today. It was a day match. Pakistani team was lead by Azhar Ali today. Hafeez was used as a specialized batsman. New Zealand won by 70 runs by dismissing the whole Pakistani Team for 210 in 46 overs. The McClenaghan who plays well as the all rounder was not in the bowling attack. He got retired hurt by a bouncer by Anwar Ali early toward the end of New Zealand innings. New Zealand batted for 280 runs in 8 overs. New Zealand scored with a good run rate of 5.6. Pakistnan could only reply with a weak response by scroring their runs with 4.56 rate.

Captain Azhar Ali won the toss and put New Zealand to bat. Muhammad Irfan finally looked fit enough to be included in the squad for ODIs. He looked fast in the initial overs and got Guptil out early for 11 runs. He hit 1 six and 1 four. Guptil was caught by Wahab Riaz. Guptil was looking dangerous at a strike rate of 64.70. Latham opened the innings with Guptil but did not look so promising. He was a victim behind stomps on the bowling of Amir at 11. Captain Williamson could not score a boundary today. He was bold by Anwar Ali on 10 runs in the 16th over.

Nicholls and Elliot started playing effectively in the middle of innings. But Anwar Ali got the wicket of Elliot in the same over by smashing his wicket. Elliot went out for duck. Nicholls was the best batsman who scored 82 runs on on 111 balls. Ronchi and Anderson also got out under a score of 100 total. Nicholls stayed on the crease and did not fear Pakistnani bowlers. He hit 7 boundaries in his superb innings of 82 at a strike rate of 73.87.There was a good partnership between MJ Santner and Nicholls which gave New Zealand a huge stand to knock Pakistan down 1-0 in the series. The major Partnership flourished as MJ Santner made 48 runs in just 63 balls. He hit 5 glorious boundaries to entertain the crowd.
