Shoaib Malik Played Captain’s Knock For 37 Against Quetta Gladiators

Quetta Gladiators Vs Karachi Kings match is at the end of its first innings. Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to field in Dubai. The match looked interesting, however a slow paced first innings so far. The karachi team is filled with some powerful names like Simmons, Shoaib Malik and R Bopara. The most prominent Pakistani player today in today’s match is Shoaib Malik the captain. We will review his innings and see how he played beautifully for 37 runs for his team and sacrificed his wicket in the end.

Shoaib feels the responsibility today as his team was entering their second match.The high scorer was Bopara in today’s match, but Shoaib was outstanding we can say because he played a captain’s knock. Shoaib was the one who guided Bopara along the middle overs so he can make a good 40 runs contribution for Karachi Kings. Malik joined the innings in the 10th over, when the Karachi team was losing wickets quickly and not really got off to a good start.

Karachi kings were 54 for three wickets down. Malik arrived at the crease when the Karachi team needed an acceleration. Muhammad Nabi was bowling superbly from Quetta. He was accurate and not giving Shoaib any width. Muhammad Nawaz also did not let Malik get loose early on. Malik was patient, letting his partner do the occasional hitting. Today’s innings was not full of huge sixes , but we must say Malik did great job for his team so far.
