Shahid Afridi 49 Runs Innings Against Bangladesh In T20 World Cup

Shahid Afridi, finally did something that Pakistanis were waiting for a long time. The man in green has smashed another really fast 49 runs against Bangladesh and provided another amusing day to his fans. Pakistani Captain scored 49 runs off just 19 balls against the tigers in the second match of the Super 10 stage of T20 World Cup 2016 played on on 16th March.

In the 2nd game of the Super 10 stage, Pakistan met with Bangladesh on Tuesday, the 16th March. Both teams were looking positive.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first as the pitch was reported as batting. Pakistan batting line up showed its full skills.

After an early loss in the 3rd over, Muhammad Hafeez and Ahmad Shahzad recorded another big partnership for the team. Both made fifties and helped foundation for a big score.

As soon as Ahmad Shahzad got out for 49, Shahid Afridi joined Muhammad Hafeez. He was already looking for a big score as he started his innings in an aggressive mood.

Afridi later managed to hit 5 sixes and 4 fours to reach 49 runs off just 19 balls. He missed his another fastest fifty by a single run when he tried to send Taskin Ahmad into the stands but landed into the hands of Mohammadullah. It was the second catch for Mohammadullah.

All of Afridi’s hits were in the middle of the bat. It showed the complete confidence of Pakistani captain was there. He was looking easy and had no pressure over his recent failure in T20s played during Asia Cup.

Pakistan has set 200 on the board. With Muhammad Amir, Muhammad Irfan and Wahab Riaz, Pakistan will be relying completely on its pace attack. Amir has proven his strength in recent International games. This is the time for tigers to do something to record their first win in the 2016 T20 world cup.
