Mustafizur Rehman 5 Wickets Haul against New Zealand

A young talent from Bangladesh, Mustafizur Rehman has taken 5 wicket haul against strong batting line up of New Zealand in their last match of Super 10 stage on Saturday, the 26th March 2016. In the 28th match of ICC T20 Cricket world cup 2016, Bangladesh vs New Zealand game was being played at Kolkata.

Mustafizur Rehman recorded his best ever figure in T20 International cricket by taking 5 wickets for just 22 runs in 4 overs. With an economy rate of 5.98, Rehman also bowled 11 dot balls on a wicket that is supposed to be a very dangerous for batting.

20 years old, left handed bowler, managed to deceive Henry Nicholas and Kane Williamson in the start. He smashed their wickets with his slow off spinners. His orthodox action is causing real trouble for all International players.

4 of his wickets were bowled including Henry Nicholas, Kane Williamson, Mitchen Santner and Nathan McCullum. Only batsman to lose a wicket through a catch was Grant Elliot, who mis-judged a slower and managed to reach into the hands of Shuvagata Hom into deep mid wicket.

New Zealand managed to score 145/8 in 20 overs. Only three batsmen can reach into double figure. Kane Williamson scored 45 runs off 32 balls with a strike rate of 131.25. Colin Munro and Rose Taylor scored 35 and 28 respectively. No other player reach into double figure.

Al Amin took 2 wickets while Mashrafe Mortaza was successful for only one time.

With Tamim Iqbal in the top order, Bangladesh will be looking to record their first win in the ICC T20 world cup to give something to praise to their fans back in Bangladesh. Bangladesh has not won even a single game.

They had veyr good chance against when they needed just 2 runs off 3 balls. Unfortunately, a pure inexperience was evident from their batting line up. Instead of scoring 2 runs, India got 3 batsmen out on 3 balls.
