The Pakistan Super League second qualifying final is going into the second half. The first half has been dominated by the Islamabad United completely. The Wasim Akram and the guys in orange had magnificient time with the ball and in the field with some super catches to break the partnerships regularly for Karachi Kings. One of the greatest performers for Karachi Kings with the ball was Muhammad Sami. Sami was outstanding today with 5 wickets to his credit.
The second qualifying final went in one way direction. Karachi kIngs had nothing significant on the board to have a chance to win this contest. Shoaib Malik was not captaining the side today, Ravi Bopara was the leader of Kings this evening.
Malik went for a duck and got failed with a miserable shot. The only man who stood between the bowlers of Karachi Kings is the skipper Bopara hiself.
Bopara loss the toss this evening, Kings were put into bat by the winning captain Misbah Ul Haq of Islamabad United. Misbah’s bowlers Muhammad Irfan and Muhammad Sami were incredbily accurate and fearful right from the start. They gave absolutely no room for huge boundaries and sixes to the Karachi openers. Badree and Russell also got some wickets. But the real hero who made the Karachi fans angry was the promising lad Muhammad Sami.
Muhammad Sami was magical in the first spell. He contained the Kings early on He got the first wicket of Wessells in the 4th over. Russell was clean bold on the beautiful deliver of Sami. Simmons was too desparate for score, he went away for 19. Muhammad Irfan got rid of the somewhat dangerous Shoaib Malik for duck.
The rest of the team was cleaned up by the champion fast bowler Sami. The right armer was fit and fiery.
He was brought in with Irfan to get rid of dangerous Bopara. Bopara was 37 not out and has been the difference maker so far. The only one who got passed 30 runs in Karachi Innings. He played 36 balls, he was heading quickly for his half century when Muhammad Sami demolished him and sent him back to dressing room, along with him the dream of a good total for Karachi Kings.
