Muhammad Asghar two diving catches against Islamabad United
Muhammad Asghar has become a hero for Peshawar Zalmi with his two stunning catches and 3 wickets against Islamabad United in their very first encounter of Pakistan Super League. A 21 years old Pathan boy from Peshawar won millions of heart with his bowling and then fielding performance on Friday, the 5th February 2016.
Peshawar Zalmi has shown their tremendous start and now the odds are in their favor. Zalmi bowlers Wahab Riaz and Shaun Tait has added an extra advantage for the hard hitting batting line up. They are struggling hard to keep their team on the top of the level.
So far, Zalmi and Karachi Kings has proved to be much better sides but Quetta Gladiators has also proved their skill sets in the opener of the Pakistan Super League 2016. Afridi, leading Peshawar Zalmi, has made the team little aggressive which according to some is the plus point for Zalmi that makes it ahead of other teams.
But this time Afridi has shown some excellent skills by asking his team to remain cool and consistent during batting performance. Zalmi is the first team to cross 140 score in PSL 2016 so far. Hopefully, other teams will be looking to cross this mark as soon as possible.
Zalmi batted well enough to get the score to 146 thanks to a fifty by Tamim and a few little cameos by others. This total was always challenging for the Islamabad United. They don’t have that depth in their batting line and also the upper order is not firing on them.
This is what happened in the game. The top order of United failed once again and this time, even Misbah did not stay in the crease much. The ball was spinning and gripping and Asghar was almost unplayable for the Islamabad United.
