Indian Tour of Australia is on its full swing as the One Day matches are near completion. Australia has already won the series in a great fashion by winning the first 3 games. The match is being played at Played at Manuka Oval, Canberra. The cricket ground does not have a sensational history like the great MCG or Sydney Cricket Ground. But it’s a day/night match 50 over match. For the first time in series, Australia won the toss and decided to bat. This is the first run chase for struggling Indians.
David Warner and AJ Finch started the innings for Australia. The openers started the innings with a glorious flow of runs against the
fast just bowlers Ishant Sharma and Yadav.Yadav Waner made 93 runs out of 92 balls. He batted at the run rate of 101.08. Finch batted even more superbly. He made a superb century. He knocked India for 107 runs in 107 balls. Finch batted at a strike rate of 100% as well. Warner was bold by Sharma and after completing his century, he got caught out on a shot that was not so comprehensive.
Marsh and Smith came to bat together and they did a good job as well. Smith completed his half century in just 29 balls. Marsh also made 33 in 42 balls. He was caught by Kohli at the ball of Yadav in the 45th over. The first wicket stand between the two openers was 187. They broke the Indian bowler’s back. Finch got out when the score was 221. After the departure of Smith, Bailey came to the crease. Maxwell joined him for the last few remaining overs. However Smith was the fastest batsman of the Australian innings, he scored at a strike rate of 175. But is was Maxwel in the end who smashed India for 41 in 20 balls. Wade and Hastings remained not out as Australia made 348 in the 50 overs with the glorious sixes of Maxwell in the last over.
Sharma took 4 wickets, and Yadav took 3. No other bowler could take a wicket after that.Indians were given a tough total to chase on the Aussie soil.
