Albie And Morne Morkel Will Miss The World T20 World Cup For South Africa

Albie and Morne Morkel are the two brothers who are the pillars of the South African Cricket. South Africa has decided not to play them in the World T20 Cup squad. The obvious reason for these two players will miss the world cup will be David Wiese. The Morkel family is deeply involved in the cricket. They will miss out in the mega event that is rare for South Africa since it has not happen in 9 years.

The captain Faf du Plessis from South Africa and the coach of the team told that David Wiese is a superb bowling all-rounder playing well for South Africa. The odds this time have become more in his favor. The coach Russell Domingo said that Dayle Styne is also returned after his injury. The experienced Styn will add more strength and experience to the team. That is why Morne’s spot in the T20 mega event team has been sacrificed.

Speaking of bowling strength for South Africa, the players in the young squad like Kagiso Rabada and Kyle Abbot have been pretty impressive with their skills. So if Albie is given a chance in the team, which would mean one of these two would definietely would go out.

And the coach do not want to do that. David is preferred over Morkels because he has tremendous versatility in his style. Looking at his IPL record, he has a much stronger chance of playing in the game than Morkels have. The experienced of two brothers Morne Morkel has played the more matches than his brother Albie in al forms of the game.

His experience in T20 and One day games will definitely be missed out on, but that will also give the experienced Morne to take some time off and rest his body. Good luck to Morkels for their future endeavors with South Africa. This mega event will miss the Morkel family in action for South Africa.
