Muhammad Hafeez justifies his place very well still after a bad tour of New Zealand. Recently Hafeez has been banned for 12 months for bowling against any team. That does not only applies in the International cricket but also Hafeez is banned for his off spin bowling in the PSL and any IPL, whatever he plays for the next one year. The bowling action of Hafeez is objectionable according to ICC. Therefore he is suspended from bowling in the game of cricket.
The Pakistan Super League is a domestic tournament, Hafeez is not representing any International Team. But, he is still not allowed to bowl in the PSL. PCB has given a reason that if a player s not allowed to bowl internationally, he cannot bowl in PSL either. His bowling action needs to be corrected. PCB will only give him the consent if the ban is lifted from the ICC itself. Until then, the great off spinner is going to no longer showing his magic with his right arm, not even for the people of Pakistan in UAE grounds.
Hafeez is a batsman and will remain an opening batsman for Pakistan Internationally. He will also represent Pakistan in PSL and hopefully will strike some sixes and fours to entertain the audience of Pakistan who is waiting impatiently for the PSL to kick off. PCB officials said that Hafeez need to concentrate on his bowling action, we are with him and we want him to bowl again as soon as the ban is lifted. Lets pray that the leading wicket taker for Pakistan comes back soon with his slow right arms, because Pakistan has already suffered a huge blow of Saeed Ajmal being left out already.
