New Zealand is heading for Indian Tour of 2016 after beating Pakistan tremendously in the both forms of game at their home grounds. The great all-rounder Nathan McCullum will retire soon in the current year, hopefully he will play until the world cup T20 in March. Then his goodbye from the International scene will leave New Zealand open for New blood in the bowling department. They already have a good plan to make their team perform best in the bowling department. For the Australian tour starting 3rd February, and for the Indian tour, three men are likely to hold their bowling strength.
Nathan McCullum, Ish Sodhi and Nathan McCullum are grouped together for New Zealand to perform well in the bowling department. Ish Sodhi is a left-arm orthodox bowler who has impressed the Cricket Board very well and Mitchell Santner is an all-round performing player. He has also impressed the selectors with his batting and bowling skills. The 15 man squad for the World Cup T20 will be announced today on Ist February. These three players will be an integral part of New Zealand bowling attack.
McCullum has been last seen to play international with the Kiwis in August 2015 against South Africa. He had a greater experience playing at foreign lands than most other players. He is considered to be a great addition for the strength of bowling department. With three spinners in the team, the Kiwis will be looking much more confident. The Indian pitches suit conditions for spinners. This will give coach more confidence on his team as well as Mike Hesson loves to see his boys do well. They have not let him down in the bowling department.
