Quinton DeCock is a South African cricketer and a young batsman. He is only 23 years old. Today we will talk about how glorious this boy is in the start of his career. The guy has just started his career against New Zealand in ODI. But he has been outstanding among the run makers. In the first match against England on 3rd February, DeCock was just outstanding.
He opened the innings for the team and was the only alone fighter in South African team to make a century and remained not out until the rain destroyed South Africa’s victory and the match went into England’s favor.
DeCock has only played 53 matches ODIs, his current record is nothing short of marvelous. He shows his skills with his powerful hitting. He also plays for IPL. He has a tremendous record against Pakistan and India. The England batting first in Cape Town on Feb 3 batted first, they started the batting with a flash and took the score to 399 towards the end. Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Joe Root did tremendous runs with the bat.
Moeen Ali was the champion with the ball for England. He kept taking wickets in the second innings and run chase. The South Africans chasing a mammoth total of 400 which was the highest total on the Cape Town ground ever by any team started well with DeCock.
DeCock stayed on the wicket and kept playing tremendously. His partners however kept getting out on regular intervals. Moin Ali was called the golden arm of England as he never let any batsman settle for long time. That did not stop DeCock from a blistering half century.
He smashed all the England bowlers well. Moin Ali was the only bowler he showed respect to but he was also hit for big shots by DeCock. In our video, you will view some of the magnificent shots by the great all-rounder.
