Kane Williamson 84 Off 86 Vs Pakistan

Kane Williamson, the New Zealand Cricket team captain, did it once again. The reliable middle order batsman scored 84 runs of just 86 balls to help his team reach the target of 291 in 3rd ODI against Pakistan played at Auckland.

Williamson hit 9 fours and 3 sixes to reach his promising 84 against Pakistan on Sunday. This was Williamson’s 2nd fifty in the 3 match series that Pakistan lead by 1-0. Williamson and Guptill set 159 runs partnership on second wicket before Guptill went out at 82 runs.

Just like Guptill who was trying to make a sweep against part time Azhar Ali, Williamson too fell a prey to Pakistani ODI captain. Williamson stepped out and tried to hit for another six but Azhar Ali cunningly managed to send the ball in the hands of Sarfaraz Ahmad, who safely managed stumping to sent Williamson out of the ground.

Pakistan set 291 target for New Zealand with the help of 76 runs of Muhammad Hafeez and 83 runs valuable innings by young Babar Azam. It was another fifty for Babar Azam in the series. He scored 83 runs of just 77 balls with the help of 10 fours and 1 six.
