Asia Cup First Match- India Vs Bangladesh 24th Feb 2016 – Preview

The round robin qualifying matches were also finished n 22nd February. The team that came out as victorious was the United Arab Emirates. UAE won all of its matches against the qualifying teams. They superbly qualified for the Aisa Cup as the leading team of qualifiers.

Indian Squad is fresh and dominant in this tournament. The first match is lead by MS Dhoni. Dhawan and Kohli are back in action this evening, so well they did against Australia in the T20s. Kohli is in a superb form of his life. He is getting runs in ever single match,  against any team. Tonight the strength will be Kohli’s innings.

Dhoni wants to keep the experienced Yuvraj Singh in the middle order. He said that there is no point in moving him up the order when the top order is doing so well. Raina and Sharma will the key players to watch out for as well. The fielding strength of India is most strongest due to playing on Aussie pitches in January-February. They can dive and catch well.

Looking at the Bangladesh Squad, their team is always hungry to do something good for their country. They want to make their country proud for their cricket ability. The hosts have high hopes and determination to win the contest.

Mashrafe Mortaza is the leader of the squad. Shakib Ul Hassan is their key batsman, a lot will be expected form him. Young talent is also a part of Bangladesh Team. The 26 year old Muhammad Mithun and 24 year old Nasir Hussain can do good wicket keeping and batting.

Arafat Sunny is a Slow left-arm orthodox spinner that can come in handy. The wicket will behave like a favorable batting wicket. But it can show some turn in the later hours. The toss will remain important for both sides.

The match is about to begin soon at 10:53 GMT i.e 19:30 local time. The two sessions will be almost one and a half hour long. The match referee RB Richardson will join the two captains. The experienced Pakistani Umpire Shohab  Raza will be incharge on field. The fans cannot wait to see the live action as India Vs Bangladesh contest is about to kick off at night.
